In the Crypto Stamp series so far, we’ve covered Crypto Stamps from Switzerland, Gibraltar, and Austria. Today, we’re excited to introduce the first Belgian Crypto Stamp.
Crypto Stamps began in 2019, and since then, many countries have issued them. We’ve already covered some, including Switzerland, Gibraltar, and Austria. In addition, the Netherlands, Luxembourg, France, Croatia, and the United Nations have released their own Crypto Stamps. Today, we’ll explore the first Crypto Stamp from another country joining the club—Belgium.

Denomination: 3 World º - No Face Value
The motif featured on the stamps is the dragon. “A colorful dragon appears on the very first Belgian crypto stamp. In Chinese astrology, 2024 is the year of the dragon. Austrian designer Lisa Filzi has created a strong and colorful design. The physical postage stamp has a special foil that gives the dragon a rainbow reflection and allows it to come to life. The eye is also reflective, adding an extra touch to the stamp. And with your digital twin, you will definitely have a unique piece in your hands!” -www.bpost.be

If you think you’ve already seen dragon on other crypto stamps – you’re not wrong at all. There is a good reason for that. “bpost has joined forces with the Austrian, Dutch and Luxembourg postal services in a unique partnership for the issue of this special stamp. The four nations agreed to use a dragon as visual. Dragons are mythological creatures that are common in European literature. 2024 is also the Year of the Dragon in Chinese astrology, in which dragons are symbols of prosperity and good fortune. The physical stamp has a special foil that brings the dragon to life with a gleaming rainbow effect. The eye is also reflective, which gives the stamp extra cachet.” - press.bpost.be
