The next beautiful stamp set, also issued by Royal Mail, celebrates the Myths and Legends of the United Kingdom. Some of the featured figures are widely known, such as the Loch Ness Monster and the tale of Beowulf and Grendel.

The United States continued its tradition of issuing wildlife-themed stamps, this time focusing on baby wild animals with charming and playful designs.

Belgium – 2025/06/16
Belgium issued a set of five stamps celebrating some of the most significant banknotes in the country's history. The 1851 1000-franc banknote was part of the first series issued by the newly founded National Bank of Belgium, representing an early step toward financial independence through national paper currency. The 1888 50-franc banknote was one of the first to feature Dutch-language text alongside French, reflecting Belgium’s transition toward a bilingual design and greater linguistic inclusivity.

Mirr-Murr the Tomcat
Hungary – 2025/06/03
The last stamp set we’ll look at today comes from Hungary and features Mirr-Murr the Tomcat. He’s a well-known Hungarian cartoon character created by writer István Csukás and illustrator Attila Dargay. Mirr-Murr is a clever and curious cat who goes on fun adventures, exploring the world and learning useful life lessons along the way.
