In the today’s article, we’ll explore some interesting social media sites where you can find more information about philately, stamp collecting, and postage stamps in general. I’ll focus on Facebook, Instagram, X (Twitter), and YouTube.
Facebook was not the first social network. This award would probably go to some of these- Six Degrees (1997), Friendster (2002), MySpace (2003). Still, it’s the first social network that became truly popular and is still the largest social network in the world. With that said, let’s check some of the most interesting philately-related Facebook pages.
Linn's Stamp News - “Linn's Stamp News is the world's largest newspaper devoted to stamp collecting. Founded by George W. Linn in 1928 as Linn's Weekly Stamp News, Linn's is today owned by Amos Media Co., a family-owned hobby publishing company based in Sidney, Ohio.
