From the very start of his career, he took photographs of his models, to be able to make multiple illustrations based on them. Michèle Wilson started her activity in 1975 after working at Véra and learning her craft there. She designed a special type of cut that adapts to the style of the painter and to the specific brushstrokes of the artwork. The patterns also play a part : the pieces in the sea will ondulate like waves, the sky will be cut up like clouds, and the buildings will be cut with squarer pieces.

The craftsmen and women separate the colours and different elements of the artwork, to ensure maximum difficulty.
