FIP (Fédération Internationale de Philatélie)
The FIP is organizing the Uruguay 2025 stamp exhibition. But before we dive into the event details, let’s take a moment to learn more about FIP.
The Fédération Internationale de Philatélie (FIP) is the worldwide organization for philately, dedicated to the study of postage stamps and postal history. Founded on June 18, 1926, it is based in Zürich, Switzerland.
The Fédération Internationale de Philatélie (FIP) was founded in 1926 by a group of European federations to create a worldwide organization for philately. Its mission is to promote stamp collecting and the study of postal history while supporting philatelic development in emerging markets, Asia, and regions where interest has slowed. Additionally, the FIP Congress takes place annually during one of its endorsed international exhibitions.

FIP Uruguay 2025
FIP Uruguay 2025 has its own special highlights but also shares many similarities with other international stamp shows. Like any major philatelic event, it will bring together collectors, dealers, and experts from around the world in a dynamic and engaging setting. Visitors can explore rare and valuable stamps, dive into postal history exhibits, and access exclusive releases from national postal administrations. The event also offers opportunities to browse dealer booths, attend expert-led seminars, participate in auctions, and connect with fellow enthusiasts.
In 2023, the FIP organized the FIAF Exhibition "URUGUAY 2023," with participants from 17 countries. The next year, the PUNTA del ESTE 2024 Exhibition saw representatives from three nations. Looking ahead to 2025, the FIP WSE Uruguay 2025 will feature over 50 countries from all five continents, making it a landmark event for philately in Uruguay.
I’ll emphasize only some of them: With so many participants, there will be a wide range of events to attend. You can view the full list here, but I’ll highlight just a few of them:
