In Part 1, we already explored some interesting stamp exhibitions from early 2025. We also discussed FIP Uruguay 2025 and World Expo 2025 in Osaka. Today we’ll mention three upcoming exhibitions from Thailand, Korea, and Germany.
First, we’ll go to Asia.
The Thailand 2025 International Stamp Exhibition will take place in Bangkok from August 8 to August 12, 2025. It will gather stamp collectors, dealers, and postal organizations from across the region. Thailand has been an active part of the Asian philatelic community since 1974, when it helped found the Federation of Inter-Asian Philately (FIAP). The country’s first major international event, Bangkok '83, inspired Thai collectors and introduced them to global philately, despite the sudden passing of its leader, Charles Stewart.
In 1989, THAIPEX, held under the patronage of Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn, marked a new era for Thai stamp collecting. Since then, Thailand has hosted several successful exhibitions and continues to play a key role in promoting philately in Asia.
Philakorea 2025 is a large international stamp exhibition that will take place in Seoul from September 17 to September 23, 2025. Hosted by Korea Post and organized by The Philatelic Federation of Korea and the Korea Postal Service Agency, the event will bring together stamp collectors, postal services, and dealers from around the world. Visitors can look forward to rare and beautiful stamp displays, educational activities, and cultural programs that highlight Korean traditions.

To help promote the event, a friendly mascot named Geon-Gon-Gam-Li Stamp Bro is on a mission to discover the most beautiful stamps for the exhibition. This playful character adds a fun and creative touch to the excitement leading up to the show.
Next, we head to Europe.
The International Stamp Fair in Ulm will take place from October 23 to 25, 2025, bringing together stamp collectors, dealers, and postal experts from around the world. Held annually, it is one of the most important philatelic events in Europe. The fair combines trading opportunities with educational activities, including expert talks, thematic presentations, and collector consultations. One of the main attractions is the "Live Postal History" competition, where participants compete for the prestigious Golden Posthorn award. Visitors can also enjoy special postal cancellations and unique commemorative items. With its mix of commerce, knowledge, and rare exhibits, the fair continues to be a major event for the global philatelic community.
