Binders featuring extremely high-quality, heavy duty covers with gold embossing have become firm favourites for collectors.
All album pages have tailor-made mounts made of chemical softener free polystyrene. Includes LIGHTHOUSE turn-bar binder which offers a large capacity, easy handling and an appealing look.
The traditional design consists of a red turn-bar binder PERFECT, textured fabric, embossed with country name on the back of the binder. Incl. slipcase.
The PERFECT DP turn-bar binder provides an extra-large capacity and comfortably accommodates up to 120 pages. Including a matching slipcase, this combination offers an amazing price/performance ratio.

Leuchtturm stamp album pages (270 x 297 mm/13-hole system) are printed in high-resolution black and white offset print on non-ageing wood and acid-free card (170 gsm).
Leuchtturm deliberately avoids colour printing. This allows you to immediately spot the missing stamps in your collection. HAWID mounts in sizes which match the stamps, made from clear, anti-glare polystyrene film, free from chemical softener are glued to the card of the albums. The stamp mounts hold the stamps securely in place and prevent them from sticking. They offer optimal protection against dust and damage.
Lots of Leuchtturm album pages are also available without HAWID stamp mounts in the so-called ”regular” version.
The individual characteristics of similar stamps which vary in e.g. colour, perforation or printing process are noted on the respective album sheets. This only applies to stamps with MICHEL (major) or Stanley Gibbons numbers and includes the year where required.
In this way Leuchtturm always ensure an aesthetically pleasing overall presentation.

Leuchtturm, a century of history. The company was founded in 1917 when the lithographer Paul Koch created the KABE publishing house in Aschersleben. KABE was the abbreviation for Koch & Bein. Bein was the name of his business partner. The KABE publishing house published first stamps and later also coin albums under the brand name "COMET". Paul Koch had to sell this first company in the 30s.
After the war Koch established a new firm in Hamburg in 1948: Leuchtturm, which also produced stamp albums. Today, Leuchtturm is the biggest exporter of philatelic and coin accessories. To strengthen the strategic position of the company, Leuchtturm acquired the rights of the french MOC albums in 1990 and finally in 1997 the KABE publishing house which has reunified both publishing houses established by Paul Koch.
