LEFA = Leather fabrics (bonded leather) is a bookbinding material consisting of leather fibres and other sustainable, natural raw materials (natural tanning agents, natural latex, natural fats and dyes).

By felting the leather fibres, the LEFA material has almost all the important characteristics of natural leather. No other material comes so close to natural leather in terms of quality and workmanship as LEFA.

The LEFA cover material we use is characterised by optimum physical characteristics (tensile strength, strong seams, durability, tear resistance, etc.).

Only high-quality and carefully selected raw materials are used for LIGHTHOUSE products in order to ensure the desired product characteristics.

The PREMIUM stockbooks have, of course, all the important quality features that you have come to expect of all LEUCHTTURM stockbooks. For covers, pages, strips, binding and interleaves, Leuchtturm therefore only use selected materials, which guarantee appealing and secure storage for your stamps.
